Gilberto Valle, the NYPD's so-called "cannibal cop" indicted in an alleged plot to kidnap and eat women, pleaded not guilty in federal court Monday, and his lawyer said he will be making a new bid to get out on bail.

U.S. District Judge Paul Gardephe scheduled a hearing for Tuesday afternoon on the bail application, but warned Valle's attorney Julia Gatto, "You'll have a hard row to hoe."
