Ted Nugent cusses out CBS News
Ted Nugent ... well, you all know about Ted: Fine rocker, hot temper, and is really immoderate politically. Said some stuff recently about President Barack Obama that was construed by some to be extremely inflammatory, if not scary. He told an NRA meet he'd be "dead or in jail" this time next year if Obama's reelected; as a result, the Army scratched a concert at a base and Nugent later told The Associated Press that by the remark he meant, "A whole bunch of us ... believe ... we are in danger of being improperly and criminally jailed — I mean criminally on the part of the government.”
There was also the matter of killing a black bear in Alaska and illegally transporting it.
In other words, damage control time for the Nuge!
He went on "CBS This Morning" to correct some stuff and ended up digging the hole even deeper. Check out this wild interview with Jeff Glor. "We have no idea where that outburst came from," per Glor. It's five minutes into this clip. Glor said Nugent's wife came out afterward and said he should apologize to the CBS News producer; he did.
