Police: Overnight shooting injures 2 in Mount Vernon (July 29, 2012 9:14 PM)

Two men were hurt in a late-night shooting Saturday in Mount Vernon, police said.

The shooting occurred just before midnight near the intersection of South Fulton Avenue and Adams Street. The victims were taken to area hospitals with injuries that do not appear to be life threatening, officials said.
