An extensive manhunt spurred lockdowns at two schools in New Rochelle Friday as police searched for an armed robber in the area.
Jefferson Elementary School and Mount Tom Day School were both closed prior to dismissal time. Roads were cordoned off as helicopters aided in the search overhead.
