Barbara Walters reveals partial 'most fascinating' list

Politicians, an Olympian, a novelist, two filmmakers and a British-Irish boy band, among others, all snagged spots on Barbara Walters' annual "10 Most Fascinating People" list, ABC announced Monday.

The ABC News correspondent and "The View" co-host, who has presented her list since 1993, announced seven of the people or groups. Walters will name the remainder and her pick for Most Fascinating Person of the Year when her TV interview special airs on Dec. 12.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, the inaugural Most Fascinating Person when she was first lady in 1993, and actor-director Ben Affleck are the only individuals of the announced seven making repeat appearances.In alphabetical order, the seven are:
