Hollywood was in the Hudson Monday as the popular TV show "Law & Order: SVU" filmed all day in Yonkers.
The production crew shot in a parking lot near the waterfront with most of the action focusing on stars Mariska Hargitay and Danny Pino.
Michele Gargiulo sat on her friend's porch on Buena Vista Avenue and not only got an up-close look at the production but a "hello" from Hargitay.
"It's really nice to see something happening downtown here in Yonkers. You know after this big storm that we had with Hurricane Sandy," says Gargiulo.
The show's producers say they have used Yonkers countless times over the years and say the city is 'film-friendly.' After wrapping up shooting in Yonkers, SVU production will roll into Mount Vernon later this week.
