Dutchess County Fair 2012

The Dutchess County Fair runs Aug. 21-26 at the county fairgrounds on Route 9 in Rhinebeck. More than 160 acres of finely manicured gardens and grass create a bucolic setting for thousands of farm animals, agricultural exhibits and horticultural displays in the state's second-largest county fair, which draws about a half-million visitors each year, the fair's website says.
