Grand Prix New York
333 North Bedford Rd. Mount Kisco, NY 914-241-3131

There’s no shortage of things to do at Grand Prix, whose main attraction is a racetrack with go-karts that zoom around the track at 40 mph, a hit with young teens and adults who like to burn rubber. If you’re not feeling the need for speed, you can watch all the action from a bridge above the track, knock down some pins in front of projected music videos at Spins bowling alley, grab a bite and a drink at Fuel restaurant, or try your hand at the half-dozen arcade games in the back.
Grand Prix hosts birthday parties and other private events. Call for information and options.
Children must be 8 years or older to drive on the kids go-karting track and 13 or older to drive on the adult Brownstone track. -Chris Serico
