“Arrested Development” fans, rejoice! Ben Stiller will be appear on one episode of the revived cult comedy. According to Entertainment Weekly, the Chappaqua resident will be reprising his role as magician Tony Wonder, the nemesis of GOB Bluth (Will Arnett).
Stiller is just the latest high-profile star with Hudson Valley ties who will appear on the series. Liza Minnelli, a former Scarsdale resident, will reprise her role as Lucille 2, and Henry Winkler, a former Mahopac resident, will reprise his part as Bluth family lawyer Barry Zuckerkorn.
Of course, “Arrested Development” also boasts two cast members who hail from the region: Rye native Jason Bateman, who plays long-suffering Michael Bluth, the head of the dysfunctional clan, and Ron Howard, an Armonk resident, who is the show’s narrator.
“Arrested Development,” which was canceled by Fox in 2006, was revived for a 14-episode run on Netflix and is scheduled to debut in May.
