"Boardwalk Empire," HBO's acclaimed drama, is filming today at the Yonkers Metro-North train station. While star (and Stone Ridge resident) Steve Buscemi was not spotted on the scene, the streets surrounding the station were lined with equipment and actors in period costumes were seen inside.

"Boardwalk Empire," is the second TV show this week to shoot in the Westchester city. The CBS television pilot, “The Ordained,” wrapped a two-day shoot at Yonkers City Hall Wednesday. According to the Mayor’s Office of Film and Photography, a cast and crew of about 200 people had been in the building, filming scenes in an upstairs courtroom and a conference room.

“The Ordained” centers on Tom (played by Charlie Cox), the member of a wealthy and powerful family who leaves the priesthood to join a top New York law firm. Besides the drama's shooting location, it has another Westchester connection: Audra McDonald, a Croton-on-Hudson resident, is a member of the show’s cast. Other actors starring in “The Ordained” include Hope Davis (“In Treatment”) and Jorge Garcia (“Lost”).
