Before slaying audiences as Snooki on "SNL," Moynihan honed his acting and comedy chops on stage at Eastchester High School and through the Eastchester Youth Council's summer musicals.

In a new YouTube video, “Saturday Night Live” cast member Bobby Moynihan reflects on his days as a student at Eastchester High School.

Moynihan appears as himself in a comedic Web series called “Cool Kids Table,” which stars Taylor Gildersleeve and Juliette Monaco as two high school girls who gossip and complain while their guests try to fit in at their cafeteria table. Previous guests on the series include fellow “SNL” comedians Rachel Dratch and Kenan Thompson; “Glee” star Chris Colfer; musician Regina Spektor; and Tony-winning actress Cristin Milioti.

Moynihan’s original "Cool Kids Table" cameo has multiple hilarious conversations that are not safe for work (but evidently safe for a cafeteria table). However, his follow-up, behind-the-scenes video about his high school days, released last week, is family-friendly and rather insightful.

Asked if he was popular in high school, Moynihan replies, “I don’t know if ‘popular’ is the right word. I think I was well-known by everyone, ‘cause I wasn’t shy, and I just went around and talked to everybody. I got up at 5 in the morning to go to hockey practice, then went to school all day, then took tap-dancing lessons and, like, did musical theater after school.”

He then pinches his belly and remarks, “I would say I haven’t tap-danced in this long.”

Moynihan then refers to the Eastchester Eagles’ mascot as “pretty sweet,” and says he might have worn the costume at one point or another. “But it was, like, a crappy costume,” he says. “It was like a really nice head and then someone’s mom made some wings. Sorry if you were the mom that made it.”

The comedian then goes on to explain how he went into an elaborate code-making process in an attempt to impress a girl. He also chugs a bottle of water. Both are more entertaining than they seem.
