Whether it’s date night or family night, enjoy classic movies under the stars during the Cold Spring Summer Film Series (coldspringfilm.org). This Saturday's featured film is "Casablanca," which will begin when the sun goes down at Dockside Park.
Run by The Cold Spring Film Society, a nonprofit arts organization, the series will screen movies until Sept. 2. Also on the docket are "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid" (July 21); "Chinatown" (Aug. 4); Alfred Hitchcock’s "The Birds" (Aug. 18); and a double feature, "The Iron Giant" and "Ghostbusters" (Sept. 2).
Admission to view the movies is free. Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and picnics for great views of the Hudson River... and even better movies.
