Celebrate National Cheeseburger Day in the Hudson Valley

Today is National Cheeseburger Day — now go forth into the Hudson Valley and celebrate with ritualistic flag waving! (Napkins will suffice.)

As someone who believes that every day should be National Cheeseburger Day, I've picked one local burger to showcase that is particularly cheesy — the Entourage at the Westchester Burger Company, with locations in White Plains, Rye Brook and Mount Kisco.

If you can get your hands on it (and mouth around it), dive into this 10-ounce burger that's nestled between two grilled-cheese sandwiches. At $14, it's not the cheapest burger or the most subtle, but it is an unforgettable one, and perhaps there's no better to way to celebrate National Cheeseburger Day.

And if you like your burgers named after TV phenomena, but with a little more smooshing involved, there's the limited-time-only Snooki Burger at BGR The Burger Joint, which has franchises in Mount Kisco and Yonkers.
