Every day this week, we’re sharing yearbook photos of some of your favorite Hudson Valley celebrities. The catch? You have to guess the identity of the local celeb based on his or her photo, and some fun facts.

Today’s mystery celeb may have a sheepish expression in his yearbook photo, but he has gone on to quite a few accomplishments, including an Oscar nomination.

So who is this Hudson Valley star? Here are some more clues:

1. This celeb was born in Peekskill and attended John Jay High School in Cross River, where he performed in the drama club with actor Campbell Scott. The two went on to appear in four films together.

2. After graduating from high school, he attended Purchase College, where he gave his roommate the nickname “Ving.” The roommate in question? Actor Ving Rhames.

3. The celeb has called North Salem home for many years, and recently married the sister of a famous actress.
