Last week we started sharing yearbook photos of some of your favorite Hudson Valley celebrities. The catch? You have to guess the identity of the local celeb based on his or her photo, and some fun facts.
Today’s mystery man donned a tuxedo for his yearbook photo, so it's no wonder that he's known today as one of music's most stylish celebs. So who is this Hudson Valley star? Here are some clues:
1. He was raised in Mount Vernon and graduated from Mount St. Michael Academy in the Bronx, an all-boys Roman Catholic high school.
2. In an interview, he said he got his first nickname at an early age, because "whenever I got mad as a kid, I used to always huff and puff."
3. He was instrumental in guiding the career of Yonkers native Mary J. Blige and credits the late Heavy D, a fellow Mount Vernon native, as “the person who made me who I am today.”
