Dobbs Ferry's Max Greenfield nominated for Teen Choice Award

Max Greenfield just earned an Emmy nod for playing the narcissistic but lovable Schmidt on FOX's comedy, "The New Girl." But before earning that nomination, the Dobbs Ferry native received his first-ever acting nod from the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. The teen-friendly awards show airs tonight at 8 p.m. on FOX.

Greenfield is nominated for the “Choice TV Male Scene-Stealer” award, up against James Van Der Beek (“Don’t Trust the B— in Apt. 23”) and former “New Girl” co-star Damon Wayans Jr. (“Happy Endings”). If he wins a TCA, it could be a good indication that he can score an Emmy as well.
