This edition of the Hudson Valley Tweets of the Week includes a vintage pic, a sneaky prank and a new puppy.

At No. 5 is Mount Vernon-raised Sean "Diddy" Combs, who proves that long before he became a clothing mogul via his Sean John line, he was rocking his style — even if his threads were issued by Mount St. Michael Academy in the Bronx.

Diddy tweet

Back in the day, this door was his jamb. (That pun works marginally better in spoken form than in writing, assuming it even works at all. I'm sorry.)

In the fourth spot is Bedford native Felicity Huffman, whose husband, fellow actor William H. Macy, is the subject of her daughter's show-and-tell. But if his new hairstyle (or lack thereof) is any indicator, something tells me the students won't be discussing his Academy Award-nominated work in "Fargo."

Felicity Huffman tweet

You know what they say: Hair today, gone tomorrow. (OK, that's plenty of puns for one day. Moving on.)

From a former Bedford resident to a current one: Chazz Palminteri takes the bronze this week for his eloquent version of "haters gonna hate."

Chazz Palminteri tweet

It's too bad that Palminteri's "Ask Chazz" event at the Westchester Broadway Theatre keeps getting postponed, because he really seems to enjoy helping up-and-coming artists find the path to success. But if you just can't wait that long to ask him your burning questions about show business, there's always his interactive website, AskChazz.com.

This week's runner-up is Rosie O'Donnell, who announced a new family member taking residence in her Nyack home.

Rosie O'Donnell tweet

It's been an eventful year for O'Donnell: She survived a heart attack, married Michelle Rounds and welcomed a new puppy to the family. Short of juggling chainsaws, I have no idea how she can top herself in 2013.

This week's top tweet goes to a fellow celebrity with a Rockland County connection, Palisades native Hayden Panettiere, who, on Monday, celebrated the full-season pickup of "Nashville." Two days later, she had a sneaky/snaky surprise for "Live with Kelly and Michael" host Michael Strahan.

Hayden Panettiere tweet

The cynic in me wonders if Kelly Ripa and Strahan's reactions were staged, but I doubt it: Ripa seems startled and Strahan is either genuinely shocked or a better actor than some might have expected. Either way, it's a funny clip, so cheers to Panettiere on her execution.
