When Hudson Valley celebrities have thoughts and feelings and post them to Twitter, they're in the running for the prestigious Hudson Valley Tweets of the Week.

This week, we learn about friends, family and a giant cake shaped like a race car. Tough to lump that last one in with the others, but so be it.

At No. 5, Rye resident Bob Woodruff playfully interrupts his allegiance to the network that employs him to root for a reality TV contestant elsewhere on the dial. But did you know that his rooting interest — Collin McLoughlin, who just advanced to the next round on "The Voice" — is his nephew?

Woodruff seems like a good sport, but I think it'd be funny for him to do an exposé on how votes are counted on "The Voice" if McLoughlin doesn't win.

At No. 4 is arguably the nicest guy on Twitter — and from what I've read, the nicest guy in Hollywood — Henry Winkler, who spent a summer or two in Mahopac. This week, he returned to Howard Stern's radio show for the first time in about a decade, and earned rave reviews from his fans about his candor.

Stern, who doesn't have the same nice-guy rep as Winkler, proved once again that he's one of the most deft interviewers alive, convincing Winkler to talk about dealing with dyslexia, troublesome parents and life after playing The Fonz on "Happy Days." Definitely worth a listen if you hear it on replay this weekend.

Placing third on this week's countdown is "American Choppers" star Paul Teutel Jr., who had a well-documented falling-out with his father, Paul Teutel, with whom he once worked at Orange County Choppers in Newburgh. But if Twitter is any indication, the two have patched things up at least enough to pose for a photo without shouting at each other in the vicinity of blowtorches.

If you're wondering why they aren't smiling, I'd argue that this is probably as big as their smiles get. Here's hoping they continue to keep the peace.

This week's runner-up is Suffern native Carole Radziwill, who recently wrapped her first season on "The Real Housewives of New York City" — and gave Newsday Westchester the scoop on how it all went down. This week, she revisited a lunch date she had with Meredith Vieira, who has called Irvington home.

I can assure you that when two journalists chat off the record, you'll hear some incredible stories. I'm guessing that both showed some restraint, however, due to the whole camera-taking-pictures-of-them-while-they-chatted thing.

Topping this week's countdown is none other than the "Ace of Cakes" himself, Duff Goldman. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, Goldman presented NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne a cake that Charm City Cakes not only modeled after his car, but also one that was to scale, at that.

Duff Goldman tweet

That is one impressive Kasey Kahne Kake. I call dibs on eating the headlights!
