Ingrid Michaelson's Tarrytown show postponed
Photo credit: Handout | Ingrid Michaelson is a singer-songwriter whose hits include "Maybe," "The Way I Am" and "Everybody."
In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Ingrid Michaelson postponed her Halloween show at Tarrytown Music Hall until Dec. 1.
The singer-songwriter — whose mother once worked at the Hudson Valley Children's Museum in Nyack — took to Twitter to announce the postponement moments ago.
"Because of mean Sandy, our show in Tarrytown is postponed until Dec 1st," she tweeted. "The venue will be in touch with all ticket holders with details."
Michaelson's return to the Music Hall would have fallen on Oct. 31, the perfect date for a performer whose latest single is called "Ghost."
As of Tuesday night, the Nov. 1 Aimee Mann show at the Music Hall remained as scheduled, according to the venue's executive director, Björn Olsson.
