After performing electrifying covers of hits like Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" and Journey's "Open Arms,” Jermaine Paul won season 2 of “The Voice” in May. Now the Harriman native is rewarding fans who voted for him in a fun, interactive music contest.

In a YouTube video posted on his Facebook page Wednesday, Paul asked fans to send messages and tweets of their favorite songs for him to cover. “I’ll definitely shout you out and I’ll definitely cover the songs you choose,” he said in the video. While he didn’t specify where people can hear the songs, it seems likely he’ll use social media to showcase the fan-picked tunes.

Paul also revealed that he’s hoping to have his new album out by the end of October. “I’m working really hard, but in the midst of it I want to do this with you guys. I think it will be really cool,” he said.

Check out his videotaped message below, then let us know which songs you would love for Paul to take on. Vote in our poll or sound off in the comments.
