This Thanksgiving week, Newsday Westchester is thankful for Hudson Valley celebrities who aren't turkeys when it comes to Twitter.

At No. 5 is celebrity chef Mario Batali, who helps helm Tarry Lodge in Port Chester. Always one to answer followers' questions on Twitter, Batali was particularly active in the days leading up to Thanksgiving.

Batali tweet

Those pasta suggestions are all way too fancy and delicious for my taste. I'm more likely to show up with a can of Chef Boyardee, which explains why Batali is a celebrated restaurateur and I'm nuking nachos in my microwave.

In the fourth spot is Pelham High School grad Jason Woliner, an executive producer of "Eagleheart" on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. Woliner is waxing nostalgic, recalling the time his Thanksgiving-themed Neil Diamond puns were embraced by the master craftsman himself.

Woliner tweet

Diamond seems to be a man for all seasons, and not just because no pun is needed for his song "Holly Holy." The guy thinks ahead!

With this week's No. 3 tweet, former Mount Vernon resident J.B. Smoove has a soft spot for deep-fried foods.

Smoove tweet

Much like Smoove, I'll eat anything deep-fried. Deep-fried ice cream? Sure. Deep-fried carburetors? Check. Deep-fried Twinkies? Hmm, I'd better get on that one sooner than later.

Saugerties-raised Jimmy Fallon also has food on his mind, and, like Woliner, isn't afraid to get punny with song titles for his show's Thanksgiving-themed hashtag game.

Fallon tweet

It was a particularly festive week for Fallon, who brought even more of his turkey skills to the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as a performer.

This week's top tweet goes to Larchmont native Joan Rivers, who's known for talking turkey year-round, but did it rather literally to celebrate the holiday.

Rivers tweet

If you prefer your turkey return to the Hudson Valley in a shade of neon orange, perhaps next year you should mail it to Marlboro native Snooki.
