Newsday Westchester gets in the holiday spirit for this year's final installment of the Hudson Valley Tweets of the Week.

At No. 5 is Peter Gallagher, who grew up in Armonk and graduated from Byram Hills High School. He's not just wishing his followers a happy holiday, he's referencing "The OC" to do it.

Lots of televised multitasking going on in this one. In addition to the "OC" shoutout and thanking fans for the kind words about his latest "How I Met Your Mother" appearance, he shouts out "Cheers!" at the end! Sure, it could have just been a standard toast, but I will choose to believe he cited the TV show due to a deep appreciation of Sam Malone.
In the fourth spot is another first-timer on the countdown, former Bedford resident Mariah Carey. When she's not hearing "All I Want for Christmas Is You" playing as every other song on the radio, she's getting into the holiday spirit at home. That's where you'll find her husband, "America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon, getting into her lamb slippers and getting down to whatever's on those headphones.

Even in freeze-frame and footwear intended for women, Cannon's dancing looks better than mine ever will.
At No. 3 is comedian Michael Ian Black, a former Peekskill resident. It's been an emotional week for many, and he's hoping that stuffing his stomach will heal his heart.

Hey, Michael, if you're considering double cheeseburgers and ice cream to ease the pain, I'm way ahead of you.
This week's runner-up is the equally hungry Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty. Before heading to Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla, this Bedford resident had his mind on his mozzy and his mozzy on his mind.

The good news is that the world didn't come to an end today. The bad news is those mozzarella sticks may have been wasted. Thanks a lot, dubious Mayan prediction!
This week's Hudson Valley Tweet of the Week belongs to Jimmy Fallon, who grew up in Saugerties. With a little help from "Late Night" sidekick Steve Higgins, head writer A.D. Miles and comediands Billy Crystal and Jerry Seinfeld, this all-star team performs a new and brilliant take on Bud Abbott and Lou Costello's classic "Who's On First" bit.

And on that magnificent note, that'll do it for this year's Hudson Valley Tweets of the Week. But be on the lookout for the Hudson Valley tweets of the year, coming soon.
