Foodies favoring locally sourced products from the Hudson Valley will gather for talk, entertainment and tastings during a Locavore Weekend event through Sunday at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz.

The Victorian castle retreat overlooking the Shawangunk Ridge will feature demonstrations by the venue’s executive chef Jim Palmeri and “Hell’s Kitchen” Season 10 runner-up Justin Antiorio, plus displays from local artisans and crafters, including the makers of Hudson Valley maple syrup, beer, cupcakes and pickles.

Both day and overnight guests are welcome to attend Locavore Weekend events and to enjoy a meal of their choice -- breakfast, lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch -- in Mohonk’s main dining room. For reservations and to find out more about the event, call 800-772-6646 or visit www.mohonk.com.

The Mohonk Mountain House is at 100 Mountain Rest Rd. in New Paltz.
