Info: The legendary British singer and former Smiths frontman will hit up The Cap as part of his U.S. tour this winter.

Morrissey, Matchbox Twenty and comedian Jim Gaffigan are coming to Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre in 2013, and tickets for all three shows go on sale Friday at noon.

Morrissey will perform at The Cap on Jan. 19 as part of his U.S. tour, which kicked off in October. The former Smiths frontman is hitting the road even though he hasn’t released an album in three years, but that shouldn’t matter to his passionate fan base. Tickets will be $49.50.

Matchbox Twenty is on tour to promote its hit album “North” and will be dropping by the Port Chester theater Feb. 26. The commute to the Port Chester venue will be a quick one for lead singer Rob Thomas, since he’s a longtime resident of Bedford.

Funnyman Jim Gaffigan, the second comedian to play The Cap since its September reopening, also will be stopping by for two shows March 1. Tickets to both shows will be $60.

All tickets can be purchased through the Capitol Theatre's website at www.thecapitoltheatre.com.
