Mount Kisco's Grand Prix New York expands arcade
Photo credit: Gregory Molesworth | Grand Prix New York, a Mount Kisco entertainment facility, features more than two dozen games.
Known primarily for go-kart racing, Grand Prix New York has expanded its arcade section, packing more video games into the 120,000-square-foot Mount Kisco facility (333 N. Bedford Rd., Mount Kisco; 914-241-3131; www.gpny.com).
Opened in February 2008, Grand Prix has multiple go-kart race tracks, a bowling facility and a full-scale restaurant. Now, with the addition of a few more machines, the venue's arcade is home to 25 video games, including some that award points that can be redeemed for small prizes. Most games cost $1 per play.
With summer coming to a close, the air-conditioned venue may be a good place to blow off some steam and play some games before kids head back to school. For the rest of the summer, Grand Prix's hours are noon to 10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; noon to 11 p.m. Thursday; noon to midnight Friday; 9 a.m. to midnight Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
