Nyack's Famous Street Fair returns Sunday

Looking for something to do with the kids this weekend? Consider bringing the little ones to Nyack's Famous Street Fair on Sunday.
There’s a designated kid zone at this rain-or-shine event, which takes place in the Main Street parking lot (Main Street at Broadway; 201-666-1340, www.acadaofnyack.com). Youngsters can slip down inflatable slides, jump around in a bounce house, watch a balloon animal made (and bring it home) and have their faces painted.
After they work up an appetite bouncing around, let them indulge in some traditional festival fare such as sausage and peppers, funnel cakes, ice cream and lemonade.
Admission is free, and more than 200 exhibitors will be showcasing their wares, including handmade crafts, gifts, antiques and more. The fair is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The street fair will return to the same location on Sunday, Oct. 7.
