Oscars 2013: Will Denzel Washington win best actor for 'Flight'?
All this week, Newsday Westchester's Chris Serico and Kirthana Ramisetti will be sharing their predictions on which stars will win major prizes at this year's Academy Awards show, with special attention paid to local nominees.
In part two of our five-part series, we predict who will win the awards for best actor and best supporting actor. Does Mount Vernon's Denzel Washington, a two-time Academy Award winner, have a shot of scoring his third Oscar for "Flight"?
