Craving cotton candy? Ditch the weekend routine and head over to the all new Palisades Fair in West Nyack, open June 21 through July 4 in the parking lots of Rockland County's Palisades Center shopping mall.

Kids and adults alike should have fun at the fair, which features classic carnival food, games and rides like the Wave Swinger and the Monkey Maze. There will also be a petting zoo, one of the largest in the area, where kids can feed Texas longhorns, donkeys, oxen and goats. Camels and ponies are available for rides, too!

In terms of live entertainment, Lance Gifford, a world-class magician and illusionist, will perform a Vegas-style magic show. After his act, the Frontier Circus, will amaze the crowd with their acrobatic feats.

Fair admission is $5 per person, which includes the live entertainment. Children under 2 are admitted free. A $15 unlimited ride bracelet is available online and individual ride tickets can be bought at the site.
