A report from Radar Online that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is poised to pop the question to actress Cheryl Hines is "untrue," a Kennedy spokesman said Tuesday.

"The story is entirely untrue," said Ken Sunshine. "It is based on unsubstantiated sources and not true."

Although they're not slated for a walk down the aisle, Kennedy, 58, has been linked to Hines, 47, for the past few years. Hines, best known for her Emmy-nominated role on "Curb Your Enthusiasm," has been divorced from her husband of seven years, producer/manager Paul Young, since 2010. That same year, Kennedy, the son of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy Sr., filed papers to divorce his second wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, who committed suicide at the couple’s Bedford home in May of 2012.

RFK Jr. and Hines were seen together at last week’s gala for the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights in Manhattan, where they took photos together on the red carpet (pictured above).
