Rosie O'Donnell, other local celebs tweet storm updates

As Hurricane Sandy hit the Hudson Valley last night, area celebrities tweeted storm updates
Rosie O’Donnell noted the damage she was seeing at her Nyack home. (She also tweeted a photo of her damaged dock.)

Comedian Pete Dominick, who lives in Congers, sounded awed as he described what he was experiencing during the storm.

Bedford’s Rob Thomas, currently on tour with Matchbox Twenty, expressed what it was like to watch the storm batter our area from afar.

Raised in Walden, Dave Annable of "666 Park Avneue" resides in New York City while filming his show. Production was halted due to the storm and Annable coped just like the rest of us.

And amid the the chaos of Hurricane Sandy, Suffern native Carole Radziwill of the "Real Housewives of New York City" demonstrated her love for Manhattan.
