Vera Wang and husband, Pound Ridge residents, announce separation

According to Women's Wear Daily, fashion designer and Pound Ridge resident Vera Wang and Arthur Becker, her husband of nearly 23 years, have announced that they are separating. The president of Wang’s company issued a statement to WWD: “Vera Wang and Arthur Becker have mutually and amicably agreed to separate. They remain devoted parents to their two daughters.”

Wang, 63, is a fashion designer known for her bridal collections worn by celebrities including Kim Kardashian and Ivanka Trump. She and Becker were married in 1989 when she was a design director at Ralph Lauren. They have two children, daughters Cecilia and Josephine.
