It's time once again for the Hudson Valley Tweets of the Week, Newsday Westchester's regular investigation into local celebrities' Twitter treats, without any of the tricks.
As always, if you missed any of Newsday Westchester's previous Hudson Valley Tweets of the Week installments, click here.
At No. 5, Saugerties High School alumnus Jimmy Fallon gave his 6.7 million fans an awesome demonstration of his weekly "Late Night Hashtags" segment.

I'm just wondering if he figured this out by sight, sound and/or taste. Regardless, yuck.
In fourth place is Fallon's "Late Night" producer Mike Shoemaker, a Westchester resident who was impressed by "Rock Center" news anchor Brian Williams' ability to reference specifics from the history of "Saturday Night Live," the show Shoemaker worked on for more than two decades.

Yes, Williams once hosted "SNL" (and did a great job, I might add), but I can't quite get over how the nightly news anchor can exhibit gravitas and an outstanding deadpan delivery with equal aplomb — often simultaneously.
At No. 3 is former Scarsdale resident Yoko Ono, who offers a thought that ... well, you might want to sit down for this one.

The artistic side of me is offering the sound of one hand clapping, as my brain just melted like so many Salvador Dali clocks. But the pragmatic side of me is saying, "Look. It's a chair. It looks like a chair, because you sit in it. Because it's a chair." (Are you #TeamChair or #TeamChairThatIsSomehowNotAChair? Let us know in the comments section.)
This countdown's runner-up Tweet of the Week comes from Penny Lane, a puppy owned by Pound Ridge homeowner Susan Sarandon. The pooch updated its 3,000 followers on what "Ms. S." is doing in Los Angeles, where the young star of a film directed by a Westchester filmmaker was being honored.

Savvy Hudson Buzz fans will recall that "Beasts of the Southern Wild" was helmed by Hastings High School graduate Benh Zeitlin, who's getting a bit of Oscar buzz for his directorial work. And, truthfully, I had to mention Penny Lane again, because this tweet happened the same week as her conversation with "Real Housewives of New York City" star and Suffern native Carole Radziwill, who told me Penny had a "star turn" in Rockland County after being mentioned by Newsday Westchester. We aim to please.
In this week's top spot is Lauren Caltagirone, who's not only one of Twitter's top comedians but also a writer for the Fallon-produced "Guys With Kids." The good news is the Cortlandt Manor native's Twitter alter ego finally seems to have gone on a date! The bad news is, well, she might be rushing things a bit.

I already got my invitation in the mail. Found it a little odd that it's just an empty, two-year calendar with every date in 2013 and 2014 circled, but, hey, good for Caltagirone and — whoever this guy is. I'm not even positive she knows his last name. Or first.
