Ang Lee drops out of directing 'Tyrant' pilot: 'I need some rest'

Oscar-winning director Ang Lee announced Tuesday that he no longer plans to direct the pilot for the new FX drama "Tyrant."
According to Deadline, the former Larchmont resident released a statement explaining why he was no longer able to helm the TV pilot, which would have been his first project since winning the best director Oscar for “Life of Pi” earlier this year.
