Stand-up comedy, memorable hit-makers and one of the nation’s top jam bands are Newsday Westchester’s quick picks for this weekend's events.

Saturday: Jim Breuer at Tarrytown Music Hall

Since making a name for himself with his Goat Boy character and Joe Pesci impersonation on “Saturday Night Live,” Jim Breuer has managed to maintain his comedy profile. In addition to developing his YouTube channel and honing his podcast with fellow comic Pete Correale, Breuer has carved a niche via satellite radio as host of “Fridays with Jim Breuer.” He returns to Tarrytown Music Hall not just to perform stand-up, but also to record his set for a new Comedy Central special.

When: 8 p.m., Saturday, July 14

Info: Tarrytown Music Hall, 13 Main St., Tarrytown; 914-631-3390; www.tarrytownmusichall.org; $30

Sunday: Spin Doctors at Empire City Casino

It was pretty difficult to escape the ’90s without hearing a Spin Doctors song — especially “Two Princes,” “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong” and “Jimmy Olsen’s Blues” — and once you heard one of the rock band’s catchy tracks, it was nearly impossible to get it out of your head. Chris Barron and his merry band of Grammy-nominated rockers are touring again with those earworms from their sextuptle-platinum “Pocketful of Kryptonite” album, and perhaps a few new tunes that you’ll find yourself humming for years to come.

When: 6:30 p.m., Sunday, July 15

Info: Empire City Casino, 810 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers; 914-968-4200; empirecitycasino.com/summerconcerts; $22.50-$50

Sunday: FURTHUR at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts

Jam band fans unite! If you like your guitar solos long and you’re not in a rush to get to the next song, check out FURTHUR at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh and Bob Weir will usher in the groovy sounds with accompaniment by Jeff Chimenti, John Kadlecik, Joe Russo, Sunshine Becker and Jeff Pehrson.

When: 7 p.m., Sunday, July 15

Info: Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, 200 Hurd Rd., Bethel; 866-781-2922; bethelwoodscenter.org; $35.50-$172.50; $116 for four tickets on the lawn; all ticket prices increase $5 on day of show
