Amazing Grace Circus Camp in Nyack

For the past 10 summers, co-founders Carlo Pellegrini and Janet Hayes have been holding the Amazing Grace Summer Camp at Amazing Grace Episcopal Church in Nyack. After Sept. 11, 2011, teens in the church's youth group wanted to do a circus show to send a message of hope to the community. They knew about Pellegrini's vast circus-performing experience, and after the first performance in May 2002, the summer camp was born. Each two-week camp session culminates in a Friday circus performance. (July 24, 2012)
