Sunday: Goat stroll in Scarsdale
Kids never fail to be delighted by the antics of jumping, bleating goats. Let them spend some quality time with these lively, noisy, amusing mammals -- and learn something new -- on a one-hour guided nature walk. Naturalist Greg Wechgelaer will share some interesting facts, such as where these animals live and what kinds of foods they like best, as he leads the way around the grounds of the 33-acre nature preserve. No registration is required for this all-ages program.
When: 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24
Info: Greenburgh Nature Center, 99 Dromore Rd., Scarsdale; 914-723-3470; greenburghnaturecenter.org; $8, $5 for members
