Saturday and Sunday: "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" in IMAX 3-D in West Nyack
What’s half the size of a dwarf, yet larger than life? It’s the little hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, in IMAX 3-D. At the behest of the Wizard Gandalf, Baggins and a crew of dwarfs embark on a perilous journey to recover a lost kingdom from a terrible dragon. The 170-minute feature, which is rated PG-13, is the first in a trilogy of films adapting the children’s fantasy by J.R.R. Tolkien. Attend the IMAX midnight show – scheduled for 11:59 p.m. Thursday, to be precise -- to receive an exclusive collector’s series of four character prints (while supplies last).
