With its wide vista of the Hudson River and a leafy outdoor patio, this 200 seat seafood restaurant is a big draw in spring and summer. The large dining room is low key, with muted colors and well-spaced tables. A long snazzy bar has white leather settees out of Las Vegas.
The menu is described as a mélange of Mediterranean, French, Italian, and Asian cooking — a challenging act under the best of circumstances. There are few revelations here, as most offerings are conventional Italian: fried calamari, littleneck clams in steamed in white wine, garlic and parsley; penne with salmon, spinach and shallots; chicken Parmesan, and miso glazed Chilean sea bass. The wine selection is paltry but prices are right. -Bryan MillerHours: Mon-Tu: 11:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m.; Wed-Th: 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m.; Fri-Sat: 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sun: 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Reservations: Accepted Credit cards: Accepted
