Description:
This upscale Italian eatery across from Lord & Taylor has a breezy and classy look, perfect for stylish Scarsdale lunchers. There are four dining rooms separated by half partitions, one an atrium with floor-to-ceiling paned windows, another with big arched windows. The owner also has Valbella restaurants in Connecticut and Manhattan.
There are few surprises on the Northern Italian menu: shellfish pastas, vegetable pastas, eggplant Milanese, bucatini all’ amatriciana, steaks, tiramisu and a fluffy napoleon. The capacious wine list favors Italian producers. -Bryan Miller
