Swim Across America
Swim Across America, a fundraiser for cancer research, treatment and prevention, was set to depart from the Larchmont Yacht Club, but windy conditions led to the cancellation of the event's athletic portion. Swimmers, family, friends and supporters still gathered at the nearby Larchmont Shore Club for the planned awards ceremony and thank-you brunch. (July 28, 2012)
