Ardsley High School graduate David Schuman was dethroned as "Jeopardy!" champion in a show that aired Wednesday night.
Schuman, 21, a student at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., won on Tuesday night's episode of the quiz show when he defeated defending champ Erin Zwiener of Abiqulu, N.M.
He finished third on the episode Wednesday night, behind winner Mike Malaier of Tacoma, Wash., who finished with $8,100.
Schuman entered the "Final Jeopardy" round with $4,300, wagered $4,200 and, like the other two contestants, was incorrect on the "Final Jeopardy" answer: "This teen duo debuted in a 1992 animated short in which they played baseball with a frog."
The correct question: "Who are Beavis and Butthead?"
Schuman takes home $4,300 as Tuesday's "Jeopardy!" champion.
