Results by district
Two Hudson Valley school districts -- Highland and New Paltz -- failed in overriding the state's tax levy cap Tuesday, while three others succeeded.
Every other district in Westchester, Orange, Ulster and Putnam counties passed its budget. In Rockland County, all budgets passed except for East Ramapo's, whose proposed 1.91 percent increase was within the state's tax cap.
