A Mahopac man whose wish to "be one with the tiger" led him to leap 20 feet from a monorail ride into a tiger enclosure at the Bronx Zoo remained hospitalized Tuesday, officials said.

David Villalobos, 25, was listed in "serious" condition Tuesday afternoon, a spokeswoman at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx said.
