The alleged robber who was shot and killed by State Police on Monday night was identified as 22-year-old Abdelle J. St. Ange of Poughkeepsie.

After breaking into a LaGrange home, St. Ange and four other men quickly found themselves surrounded by state troopers and deputies from the Dutchess County sheriff's office, according to police.
