Hudson River Swim

Participants in the 8 Bridges Hudson River Swim departed by boat from the Shattemuc Yacht Club to be dropped off at the Tappan Zee Bridge to begin their 15.7-mile journey to the George Washington Bridge for the sixth stage of the marathon swim Sunday in Ossining. The event will conclude Monday with swimmers splashing in at the George Washington Bridge for the 18.6-mile swim to the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. (July 1, 2012)
