Japanese New Year calligraphy a tradition

Kakizome, an event featuring traditional Japanese New Year's calligraphy painting, was presented by the Dutchess County Arts Council Folk Arts Program and the Mid-Hudson Japanese Community Association. The event was held at the Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center in Poughkeepsie. (Jan. 5, 2013)
