A jealous Kingston man tried to set his ex-girlfriend's house on fire Tuesday because another man was in the home, the City of Kingston Police Department said.

Travis A. Bryant, 26, is accused of pouring lamp oil on the floor of the ex-girlfriend's house while she was home and her three young children were sleeping.
