A Poughkeepsie man who took his toddler along while he tried to sell heroin in Kingston now faces child endangerment and drug charges, police said Friday.

About midday Thursday, the Kingston police's Special Investigations Unit received information regarding a substantial amount of heroin being trafficked into the city from Poughkeepsie, said Kingston police Lt. Cliff Tremper.
