Newburgh cops seek pair in violent armed burglary

Town of Newburgh police were searching Tuesday morning for thieves who beat up an elderly couple during a violent armed burglary.

Two men broke into a home Sunday on Balmville Road, police said. The men went in through a window and then held the couple at gunpoint while they searched the house, police said.
