A Pine Island woman who reported that the bar at which she worked had been robbed was arrested Friday and charged with stealing the money that she reported missing.
State Police say Jennifer R. Ptak, 33, dialed 911 to report that the Dark Horse Bar had been robbed. After an investigation, police concluded Ptak made up the story to cover up that she had taken the night's profits.
